Frenzy Fridays: He Left Me in the Cold!

You know that light teasing you get from say, someone you have a crush on? He met you at some mutual friend's party, you hit it off fantastically, he gives you his number and promises that he'll be in touch. You both text relentlessly for the next couple days, maybe go get coffee where he's constantly touching your hair. Things are going great and you're ready to call Mom and say you found someone.

But then, out of no where, he just turns COLD. No texts, no calls, you hear from your friend that he's just not into you. You're left confused and hurt, not just because he dumped you but because he dumped you but because you loved the way you felt. Right????

That's sort of what I feel like with this weather lately! Boston has 2 consecutive 60°F days this week, and now we have tumbled right back into freezing. What a TEASE. I am hurt, MOTHER NATURE!

I'm again dying for spring to....well, spring. So of course my mind goes to what I'd wear when the first day of warm weather rears it's head. Bare legs? I WANT THEM:

Since we won't truly be in summer, I wanted to keep the color tones down [except for a pop of color with the tank top], but to also make it so there are layers that can breathe. Who doesn't like fresh air and sunshine?

I also kicked up the accessories with my undying shoe obsession [Jenni Kayne, those flats are the pinnacle of my clothing goals], a couple statement rings, and a well constructed Wang duffel. Top it off with a high messy knot and I'm good for a stroll in the park!

I'm off to celebrate at my friend's bridal shower then later on a baby shower! It's a shower-filled weekend for me :)
